Those of you who have been following us for a while know that we tried once before to open a sanctuary………and failed.
The costs involved with leasing the property (which was beautiful and perfect) were simply unsustainable.
As a result, we gave up the property………but not the goal. The goal remains unchanged.
We’ve found another place to start, and we’re getting a second chance……..just like the dogs we help.
This place doesn’t come with a big monthly payment – we can start over from there
and work on purchasing a bigger property of our own as we move forward.
We now have the use of part of a 35 acre ranch. There are two 3,000 gallon water cisterns,
and we have a decent RV to live in while we start our sanctuary.
We also have a second trailer to use for dogs while kennels and runs are being built.
There is no electrical service to the property yet, but there will be before winter comes.
The RV has a generator – but gasoline is really expensive and we do need electricity 24/7.
To offset the huge cost of running the gas generator constantly,
we’re raising a small amount of money to purchase a solar generator.
(a GoFundMe link is below if you’d like to help)
Our goal is to get set up as quickly as we can, get our permits in place,
and start helping dogs as soon as humanly possible.

Our vision of the future sanctuary
